During our recent family vacation at Vicolo, we enjoyed a lovely three-night stay in the charming village of Barolo. The location couldn't be better-surrounded by stunning vineyards and friendly locals. We appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere, especially the nearby parks where the kids could roam free and burn off some energy. While we did encounter a few minor hiccups, like the lack of essentials such as soap and toilet paper, it didn't ruin our experience. On our first night, we ventured to the only restaurant open for dinner on Wednesdays-be sure to book in advance as it gets busy! The local cuisine was a delight and a great way to immerse ourselves in the region. We also took a day to explore nearby wineries, which offered tours that were engaging for both adults and kids. Vicolo was a welcoming base for our adventures, and we left with memories that will last a lifetime. For families looking for a cozy getaway, Vicolo in Barolo is worth considering!
